Laura Kate Harvey
An experienced performer in her own right, Laura brings a wealth of theatrical experience having performed from an early age in dance shows and musicals before going on to create the title role in the UK Premiere of the hit Broadway show, Jane Eyre the Musical in 2005 following an invitation to view the original Broadway production in New York by composer and lyricist Paul Gordon.
Other performance credits include: Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly, Lucy Harris in Jekyll and Hyde, Meat in We Will Rock You, Maureen in Rent, Cora in Calendar Girls all at The Regent Theatre, Hanley. Morgan Le Fay in Pendragon, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Sinead Flanagan in What’s All The Fuss About? Stephanie in Time Of My Life at Stoke Rep. In 2014, Laura reprised her role in What’s All The Fuss About? at The Regent Theatre, Hanley alongside Anne Nolan and Niki Evans.
In 2010 Laura made her directorial debut with Billy Elliot The Musical for Stage Productions at The Regent Theatre, Hanley having previously worked as Assistant Director on productions including Oliver! and Brassed Off.
Other directing credits include: Billy Elliot The Musical (Stockport Plaza), Miss Saigon (Mitchell Arts Centre). As Director and Choreographer: A Century of Song (Victoria Hall), La Cage Aux Folles (Stoke Rep) Bugsy Malone (Stoke Rep), The Phantom Of The Opera (The Mitchell Arts Centre).
Laura also works as a singing and drama teacher both privately and in various schools across the Midlands and has co-written a new musical called Let’s Twist Again which previewed in 2010.
Laura is the Creative Director of Scarlet Theatre an organisation whose aim is to engage, educate and entertain young people through theatre.
Grace is the owner and Principal of Happy Feet Performance Academy in Hanley - a dance school providing tuition from age 3 to Adult.
As well as a passion for teaching, Grace has never lost her passion for performing and has performed in many musicals. Grace has appeared as a Dance and Chorus Member in ‘Crazy For You’ and ‘Pendragon’ at The Rep Theatre Stoke,‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Fame’, ‘Rent’, ‘King and I’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ at The Regent Theatre and as the principle role of ‘Joanne’ in ‘Rent’ at The Mitchell Arts Centre.
In July 2011 Grace was also Assistant Choreographer on the smash hit musical Billy Elliot at The Regent Theatre in association with The Billy Youth Theatre, culminating in a performance at a West End Gala at the Victoria Palace Theatre, Billy’s London home.
December 2011 saw The Mitchell Arts Centre’s very first Professional Pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ featuring West End stars, and Grace was the choreographer on this project. Additional credits as choreographer include, The Full Monty, The Sound of Music, Miss Saigon, Anything Goes, Jesus Christ Superstar and Hairspray.
As a youngster Grace also held a Junior Ballet Scholarship with the British Ballet Organisation and then aged 13 gained a Senior Modern/Jazz Scholarship with the British Ballet Organisation which she held until the age of 18.Grace graduated in 2009 with a BA Joint Honours degree in Dance and English Literature from Manchester Metropolitan University Cheshire and then went onto train at the Steelworks Performing Arts Academy where she gained her Approved Teacher Status in Classical Ballet with the British Ballet Organisation.
Jonathan is the co-founder of Stage Productions and resident Producer and Musical Director.
As a musician Jonathan is an accomplished pianist, vocal coach and conductor, having worked as a freelance musical director on numerous musicals in the Midlands including the UK Premiere of Jane Eyre the Musical, Fame, Oliver!, Boogie Nights, Les Miserables, Hairspray and We Will Rock You.
In 2003 Jonathan joined the Board of Trustees of Millennium Youth Theatre Company. During his 4 years at MYTC he was instrumental in its rapid expansion to venues such as the Queens Theatre, Burslem and The Regent Theatre, Stoke securing rights for sell out shows such as Les Miserables and We Will Rock You.
In 2008 Jonathan founded Stage Productions, a Midlands based social enterprise specialising in community arts and theatre. Since then Jonathan has worked as Producer and Musical Director on numerous projects including the sell out Queen tribute concert Back To Rock You, Oliver! Rent, The King & I, Brassed Off, Billy Elliot the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Full Monty, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera and Hairspray.
In 2010 and 2011 Jonathan worked with the West End creative team of Billy Elliot the Musical to deliver the Billy Youth Project in Staffordshire and Manchester which included performances of Billy Elliot at The Regent Theatre, Stoke, Grand Opera House, York, Plaza Theatre, Stockport and a special Gala production at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London's West End.
Jonathan is also the owner and Principal of Stagecoach Newcaslte-under-Lyme, a part-time theatre school for ages 4 to 18 providing training in Singing, Dance and Drama.
